SIPS & New Build

Complete remodeling of a 1970s bungalow with addition of a sunroom and construction of an upper story in SIPS (structural insulated panels) with traditional art stone slate roof to achieve a low energy four bedroomed family home. The lightweight nature of SIPs and the speed of erection allowed us to achieve our goals.

"A great deal of credit must go down to the planning and organisation of the main contractor, Paul Armstrong, who now has the experience of working on over four SIPs contracts with SIPS@Clays.

"What initially impressed us about P. S. Armstrong was the comprehensive, clear and professional quote we received from Paul and the time he devoted to discussing the project with us. We appreciated his suggestions for improvements and savings to be made from the original plans. We soon learnt that this meticulous attention to detail was apparent throughout the job resulting in a consistently high quality finish."

"We were pleased to find a builder who was experienced with newer construction methods as well as a proven track record with more traditional builds."

"Our project was competently managed by Paul and communication was excellent throughout. His highly skilled team were always hard working, well organized, courteous and tidy. This can also be said for all the sub contractors recommended and employed by Paul."

"We have been in our new home for a year now and have had many compliments on it. We have had no hesitation in recommending P. S. Armstrong to any friends who need building work done."

"Thank you Paul and team for an excellent job well done and we wish P. S. Armstrong all the very best for the future."
